InfoSphere Warehouse 9.7.3 is here

Has been a very busy last few weeks here at IBM, but today it all pays off as we launch our next iteration of our InfoSphere Warehouse software, ..9.7.3 (yeah, sexy name right?).

As compared to many other product launches, developments, etc. InfoSphere Warehouse 9.7.3 is more or less a customer driven modification (even simplification) of our core warehousing software architecture.

The main 3 components of this announcement are as follows:

IBM InfoSphere Warehouse 9.7.3 Major Updates

I’ll be spending some time over the next week digging into the details of the offering and why it is such an important announcement. The point is that we have listened to both our customers and business partners adding in features and technologies that simplify not only the deployment of a data warehouse – but the planning and costs associated with building one

For any general information now, please check out the website and information around the offering and associated papers, assets, etc. A preliminary study from ITG on the costs associated with InfoSphere Warehouse (compared to Oracle) is available now as well. I will drill into detail on this in a day so when I come up for air.

For our WW Business Partners – We just recorded a session for you yesterday (should be syndicated by now) but please let me know if you need any other details – We will be following up early June with a live session for Q/A.
