As the Sun Cracks Through the Fog
Ah Easter morning – Up in Western Massachusettsthis week with the temperature about 20 degrees colder than home – and so far without the sunshine. Today is starting off on a much brighter foot. Hope the rain got to us in NC, as I just planted a line of tomoatos and peppers – as well as starting 6 hops rhizomes: 2 Cascade, 2 Centennial and 2 Zeus (Similar to Columbus). Was in quite a rush to get it all in the ground before leaving town, so no pictures so far. The net of it is to have enough hops on hand to make my IPAs self sufficient in the hops department – Valiant attempt at least.
On the work front – Last night just made travel plans for next week – Will be attending and representing IBM Data Warehousing at Gartner’s BI Summit in Los Angeles May 2nd through the 4th. Gartner events on average are first class – It has been awhile though, my last attendance were the ones in Amsterdam, Sydney and Chicago when we unveiled the original InfoSphere name. If you are going to be out there, give me a shout at the twitter account @weberlarry
Happy Easter and Happy Passover
